About the position

The Property Manager/Community Manager will oversee the daily operations of a mid-size property management firm with over 275 residential units in Revere, MA. This role is crucial as the primary representative of the management team, responsible for ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency while managing a portfolio of 200-300 units.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the property portfolio.
• Represent company management to residents and the public.
• Maintain high customer service and quality standards.
• Ensure employee and resident satisfaction.
• Manage operational reporting, accounts receivable/collections, and cost control.
• Oversee leasing and rental processes including marketing, showings, guest cards, rental applications, move-ins, renewals, rent increases, and moveouts.
• Coordinate with maintenance for property turnovers.
• Handle tenant communication and relations with a focus on customer service.
• Approve invoices and upgrades, and oversee work orders and building upkeep.
• Suggest capital improvements and ensure budget compliance for assigned buildings.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Manage lease agreements and enforce rules and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of rent payments and invoices to residents.
• Oversee accounts receivable/collections and manage eviction notices and legal interactions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of multi-family property management and finance experience required.
• Great communication skills, listening, diplomacy, tact, empathy, and attention to detail.
• Resourceful and energetic in resolving issues.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
