About the position

The Property Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring regulatory standards and compliance across the property portfolio of Kier Management. This role involves supporting property management operations, developing training programs for Property Managers, and maintaining adherence to housing program guidelines. The manager will supervise Site Managers, address lease violations, and act as the main point of contact for audits and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for Property Managers, offering ongoing support.
• Implement initiatives to recognize and improve on-site staff performance.
• Update training materials and administrative forms for Site Managers.
• Maintain expert knowledge of housing program compliance guidelines.
• Supervise Site Managers across assigned properties.
• Ensure timely submission of HAP vouchers and regulatory reports.
• Address lease violations promptly and communicate effectively with residents.
• Track regulatory updates and communicate important changes to Site Managers.
• Act as the main point of contact for third-party audits and compliance reviews.
• Temporarily manage properties during Site Manager vacancies as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in property management software, especially Yardi.
• Strong leadership, training, and support skills for managing Site Managers.
• Comprehensive understanding of housing programs, compliance standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Adaptable to dynamic environments, with strong conflict resolution skills.
