About the position

RHP Properties is seeking a dedicated Property Leasing Agent to join our team at the Valley Vista community in Las Vegas, NV. As the nation's largest private owner and operator of manufactured home communities, we pride ourselves on providing accessible and affordable housing across the country. This full-time position involves performing various administrative duties under the supervision of the Community Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers with a professional demeanor, answering community office telephone calls, and providing requested information promptly. Building and maintaining community relationships is essential, as is the ability to use Microsoft Office to produce and present documents effectively. In this role, you will assist the Community Manager in entering data into our management software program and completing guest cards while entering lead information in the Link System. You will handle inquiries from potential residents interested in purchasing homes or moving into the community. Maintaining office files according to company policy and state and local requirements is crucial. You will also be responsible for inventory management, ordering office supplies, and coordinating the maintenance of office equipment to ensure seamless customer service. Additionally, you will document telephone conversations, visits, and presentations to maintain existing customer relationships and build a book of business for property management. Working closely with the Community Manager, you will assist in new and used home sales, present homes to potential residents, and ensure the privacy and property preservation of our residents. Compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements is mandatory to protect the interests of the company and avoid discrimination against residents, vendors, and team members. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers with a polite, professional demeanor.
  • Answer community office telephone calls promptly and professionally, providing requested information for telephone inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain community relationships.
  • Use Microsoft Office to produce and present documents.
  • Assist the Community Manager in entering data into the management software program.
  • Assist the Community Manager in completing guest cards and entering lead information in the Link System.
  • Maintain all community office files according to company policy, including state and local requirements.
  • Inventory, order and verify receipt of office supplies.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment to ensure continuous customer sales and service.
  • Document telephone conversations, visits, and presentations to maintain existing customers and build a book of business of potential residents for property management.
  • Work in conjunction with the Community Manager in new and used home sales.
  • Present homes to potential residents as needed.
  • Ensure residents' privacy and property preservation.
  • Comply with Federal, State, and Local regulatory requirements to protect the interest of the company and avoid discrimination of residents, vendors, and team members.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-year general office experience required.
  • 1-year sales experience preferred, occasionally required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • 3 years of property leasing experience preferred.
