About the position

The Maintenance Repair Technician position at Ad-West Realty is a part-time role focused on performing maintenance and repair tasks for two apartment complexes. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained and safe for residents, conducting inspections, and addressing various repair needs as they arise. This role is essential in maintaining the quality of living in the communities managed by the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major maintenance and repairs on apartment complexes, including door locks, plumbing, and outdoor lighting.
• Conduct inspections of vacated and occupied apartments to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Maintain swimming pool facilities, if applicable.
• Replace baseboard heaters, switches, thermostats, and appliance parts as needed.
• Maintain good public relations with the community by conducting all property activities in a professional manner.
• Be on call for emergencies such as fire, electrical issues, or flooding.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle with insurance coverage.

• Prior maintenance or repair experience for a multi-unit property or professional organization.
