The Property Management Inspector plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of residential and commercial properties within the real estate team. This position involves conducting regular inspections, assessing property conditions, and ensuring compliance with safety and zoning regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess overall condition.
- Identify maintenance issues and ensure that properties meet safety and zoning regulations.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with property managers to address inspection findings and implement solutions.
- Monitor the completion of maintenance and repair work to ensure compliance with standards.
- Communicate regularly with tenants regarding inspections and property issues.
- Stay updated on local property laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between properties.
- Proven experience in property management, building maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with tenants and management.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet inspection schedules.
- Familiarity with property management software and reporting tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of construction, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
