About the position

The Leasing Agent will be responsible for the organization and management of daily operations related to property leasing in the Monmouth, Dallas, and Salem areas. This role requires a self-motivated individual with prior property management experience and strong attention to detail. The position involves customer service, tenant screening, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth leasing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Customer service
  • Showing properties to potential applicants
  • Leasing and tenant screening
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Process applications and lease signings
  • Data entry and generate and serve notices as needed
  • Draft leases
  • Process lease renewals
  • Address questions and concerns of current tenants
  • Contribute to the development and publication of advertisements for our rental properties
  • Answering phones, responding to emails and other inquiries, returning phone calls
  • Ability to be in the on-call rotation for the after-hours/emergency maintenance call line
  • Any additional duties assigned by Property Manager

Requirements

  • Previous property management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and self-directional
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to answer/operate multi-line phone system
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Customer service experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Office experience: 1 year (Required)
  • Ability to commute to Monmouth, OR 97361 (Required)
  • Ability to relocate to Monmouth, OR 97361 before starting work (Required)
