About The Position
D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a Leasing Consultant for its Operations Department at the Ascend Rippon community in Woodbridge. This role is pivotal in enhancing the living experience for residents and prospective tenants. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for engaging with potential and current residents, effectively communicating the value of living in a DHI Communities (DHIC) Build-To-Rent community. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping others find their new homes and will thrive in a customer-focused environment. The Leasing Consultant will manage the application process, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective residents. This includes following up with potential tenants through various communication methods such as emails, thank-you notes, and phone calls to finalize leasing decisions. The role requires providing consistent service throughout the resident life cycle, responding promptly to resident inquiries, and taking necessary actions to resolve any issues that may arise. Additionally, the Leasing Consultant will oversee lease expirations and work to secure renewals, contributing to the overall satisfaction and retention of residents. In addition to these responsibilities, the Leasing Consultant will assist with community marketing activities and resident events, helping to foster a vibrant community atmosphere. The position also involves completing various accounting and administrative reports, ensuring compliance with government regulations such as Fair Housing, ADA, and OSHA. The successful candidate will conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner, enhancing the goodwill and profitability of the company.
