About the position

The Property Management Officer at 3CDC plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Management and Development teams by overseeing administrative duties, scheduling maintenance, and facilitating repairs for over 150 commercial spaces owned by the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to property management, including addressing issues at vacant buildings and ensuring tenant satisfaction through effective communication and coordination with service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service providers to perform maintenance for 3CDC assets
  • Data entry for invoice processing
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of tenant contact information
  • Manage and schedule third-party contractors and vendors
  • Effectively track and manage work orders and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Keep organized records of preventative maintenance contracts, service contracts, and certifications
  • Oversee fire escape inspection compliance tracking
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance for commercial assets
  • Conduct vacant building assessments and repairs as needed
  • Be available after hours and on weekends to address emergency issues
  • Track budgets and expenses for all assets

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, maintenance, or general construction
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure
  • Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with budgeting and expense tracking
