About the position

The Property Manager 1 at L+M Development Partners is responsible for overseeing the operations and financial performance of assigned properties, ensuring exceptional property management services. This role involves collaboration with various teams, managing building staff, and maintaining compliance with regulations while enhancing property value and resident relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building staff and operations for assigned properties.
• Collaborate with Asset Management team and stakeholders to control expenditures and drive value.
• Manage retail/commercial operations according to lease agreements.
• Support community affairs initiatives and work with social services for at-risk residents.
• Supervise agency-specific inspections and document incidents.
• Manage CAPEX projects and oversee bidding and contract execution.
• Review and enforce security protocols and service contracts.
• Approve invoices and oversee scattered-site properties operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience and certifications.
• 3+ years of experience in Property Management Operational roles or 4+ years in a direct GM role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi software.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Experience in managing affordable housing or market rate properties.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as RAM, ARM, AHM, LIHTC, and CPM.
• Knowledge of building systems and real estate license.
