About the position

The Property Management Assistant position at Feagley Realtors involves supporting property management activities, including leasing, customer service, and maintenance coordination. Responsibilities

  • Assist with property leasing activities including showing units to potential tenants and processing applications.
  • Handle phone inquiries and provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants.
  • Maintain property files and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
  • Assist with property maintenance requests and coordinate repairs with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize Appfolio or similar software for property management tasks.
  • Support the Property Manager in various administrative tasks.
  • Uphold legal standards related to property law.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in legal administrative roles or property management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property law.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and vendors.
  • Familiarity with Appfolio, Quickbooks or similar property management software is a must.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Upselling skills to promote additional services or amenities to tenants.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual skills are a big plus.
  • Knowledge of tenant's rights and rent control laws.
  • Some knowledge of home repair and construction.
