About the position

The Property Manager position at United Church Homes, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Brunswick Community, a senior living facility. This role involves managing leasing activities, financial reporting, maintenance, and ensuring the community is maintained to a market-ready standard. The Property Manager will also focus on customer service, team development, and marketing strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and community profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of the senior living community, ensuring smooth running in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide superior customer service and communication with residents and prospective residents.
  • Oversee all aspects of leasing and sales, including marketing activities and maintaining product knowledge.
  • Complete lease and renewal paperwork accurately and track advertising and client traffic.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, minimizing turnover.
  • Drive revenues through understanding competition and developing creative marketing programs.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards and manage community budget and finances.
  • Maintain positive relations with community vendors, prospects, residents, and team members.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of onsite property management experience; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in operating a computer, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), email, and relevant software.
  • Proficient in Yardi property management software or similar software.
