About the position

Wynmoor Community Council is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee the operations of a large gated adult condominium community in Coconut Creek, FL. The Property Manager will serve as the primary resource for condo board members and residents, handling a variety of administrative tasks and ensuring effective communication between residents and various departments. This role requires advanced professional knowledge, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage complex issues within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with condo representatives and Wynmoor department heads.
  • Daily contact with residents via phone, in-person, and written correspondence.
  • Answer questions and concerns, follow up on issues, and coordinate with other departments.
  • Prepare legally required notices, proxies, resolutions, agendas, written consents, minutes, and amendment drafts.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities such as updating 55 status and corporate filings with the state.
  • Assist Directors and Presidents with agenda and conduct of meetings.
  • Provide instruction and advice about handling complaints and violations.
  • Research association governing documents and explain their meanings at a high level.
  • Speak about various subjects at Board and resident meetings.
  • Conduct elections and create instructional materials for Board members and residents.
  • Facilitate requests and responses for other departments, discussing complex issues.
  • Handle all sales and leases processing tasks as necessary.
  • Compose, resolve, and negotiate responses to issues such as violations and requests for information.
  • Assist department heads with multiple and varied tasks of a sensitive nature.
  • Ability to work weekends or nights if occasionally required.

Requirements

  • An active CAM license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of CAM or related business experience.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office, property management system, and email.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks.
  • Customer service skills, preferably with an elderly population.
  • Ability to maintain balance and a positive attitude under stress.
  • Able to work independently, research, and problem solve.
  • Able to think and work with distractions and interruptions.
  • Possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Property management experience of 5 years (preferred).
  • Community Association Manager License (preferred).
