About the position

The Property Manager at Barrett & Stokely is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a multifamily property, ensuring exceptional service to residents while managing financial budgets and property maintenance. This role involves leading a team, addressing resident concerns, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the prospect/resident lifecycle including addressing resident concerns and disputes.
• Manage property repairs and risk management.
• Responsible for the financial budget and all leasing and marketing aspects of the property.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and coach property employees.
• Prepare and manage a comprehensive budget.
• Ensure compliance with local ordinances, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing laws.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Two years of related experience in multi-family management leadership role or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes.
• Financial management skills including ability to analyze financial statements and develop budgets.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
