About the position

HomeRiver Group is seeking a Property Manager to oversee and manage property owner investments in the Lakeland, Florida area. The role involves handling property management functions for residential single-family properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing regional travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle property management functions for residential single-family properties.
• Manage tenant and owner requests.
• Address prospective tenants by answering/screening phone calls and in-person inquiries.
• Oversee property maintenance team.
• Understand basic property maintenance issues related to building, parking lot, and landscaping.
• Oversee basic property accounting needs such as rent collection and invoicing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of single-family management experience.
• Must have a Florida Real Estate License.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience using property management software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service roles.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new computer systems.
• Typing speed of 50+ wpm.
