Your role is pivotal as you lead the community, ensuring that every aspect of apartment living is exceptional. You will be the CEO and head coach of the community, bringing your passion for people and trendy neighborhoods to work every day. Your leadership will set the standard for behaviors consistent with our culture, and you will execute sales, marketing, and operational activities that align with our budgeted occupancy and customer retention goals. In this position, you will manage the financial performance of the property, creating and delivering timely and accurate financial and operational reports to clients. Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders is crucial, as is maintaining expert-level competitive marketplace intelligence. You will partner with consumer marketing to implement effective marketing strategies, ensuring consistent guest satisfaction that leads to outstanding customer ratings and community reviews. This role requires you to work weekends when prospective residents are looking for their new homes, typically one weekend per month, with two days off during the week. Additionally, you will inspire the professional growth and development of your team members, demonstrating that no job is below your pay grade by rolling up your sleeves to assist them when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and serve as a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with Bozzuto's core values and culture.
  • Execute sales, marketing, and operational activities to achieve budgeted occupancy and customer retention goals.
  • Manage the financial performance of the property, including revenue, budget, and P&L management.
  • Create and deliver timely and accurate financial and operational reports to clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and loyalty with all constituents.
  • Maintain expert-level competitive marketplace intelligence.
  • Partner with consumer marketing to implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Ensure consistent guest satisfaction that yields outstanding customer satisfaction ratings and community reviews.
  • Work weekends when prospective residents are looking for their new homes, typically one weekend per month with two days off during the week.
  • Inspire the professional growth and development of all team members.
  • Assist team members in their tasks, demonstrating that no job is below your pay grade.

Requirements

  • A College Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, preferably with lease-up experience.
  • A strong leadership track record.
  • An impeccable client and customer relationship track record.
  • Revenue, budget, and P&L management experience.
  • Proficiency with industry software (YARDI preferred).
  • Strong financial skills with a basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A sharp professional appearance.
  • Real estate license required.
