About the position

Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring high-level of service. Multifamily Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property and community.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our multifamily community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.
  • Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel.
  • Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Leading by example and instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield's mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
  • Maintain residents' files in accordance with company's standards.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 3+ years of onsite Multifamily leadership experience.
  • Yardi experience.
