About the position

The Property Manager for Multifamily at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Reserve at Drakes Creek community, ensuring it meets market-ready standards while providing exceptional service to residents. This role involves managing a high-performing team, driving revenue through effective marketing strategies, and maintaining a positive living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Tracking and evaluating advertising and all client traffic.
  • Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel.
  • Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs.
  • Leading by example and instilling Cushman & Wakefield's mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervising day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
  • Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company's standards.
  • Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Management experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
  • General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
