We are looking for an experienced Tax Credit Property Manager to work at one of our locations. This position is crucial for ensuring the effective management of our properties, particularly those that fall under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The role encompasses a variety of essential functions that are vital for maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as ensuring resident satisfaction. The Property Manager will be responsible for rent collection and expense control, monitoring and implementing rent increases, utility changes, and Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contract renewals. Additionally, the manager will prepare lease documents and verify compliance with lease files, ensuring accurate completion of applications, income verifications, asset verifications, and other related paperwork. The Property Manager will also ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state agency requirements, including HUD Multifamily programs, HOME, Bond, and Tenant Selection Plan requirements. Responding to resident complaints and providing resolutions is a key part of this role, as is serving as the community representative for all court proceedings, including 72-hour notices and evictions. Maintaining high occupancy levels is essential, and the Property Manager will perform other duties as assigned to support the overall management of the property.
