About the position

The Property Manager I at National Church Residences is responsible for overseeing the financial management and operational performance of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations, and maintaining positive relationships with residents and owners. This role involves budget preparation, financial reporting, and implementing resident retention programs to achieve occupancy goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and document annual operating and capital improvement budgets for assigned properties.
  • Analyze financial statement activities and maintain operational performance within budget.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for assigned properties.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD and LIHTC rules and regulations.
  • Maintain occupancy levels and foster good relations with owners and residents.
  • Oversee marketing and leasing functions to achieve budgeted occupancy levels.
  • Implement resident retention programs, including move-in and service follow-ups.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, partners, and Boards.
  • Manage employees and property operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in social service delivery with elderly and/or family populations.
  • Working knowledge of supportive services and resources in the area served by the project.
  • Ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and provide results for residents.
