About the position

The Property Manager at Pioneer Meadows is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the property, ensuring efficient management, and creating a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, maintaining resident satisfaction, and executing strategic marketing plans to attract and retain residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee lease administration, rent collection, and delinquency management.
  • Ensure efficient operations and oversee supplier contracts and maintenance.
  • Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, and provide corrective feedback to associates.
  • Lead and communicate a vision with associates, providing coaching and development.
  • Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
  • Respond to resident complaints and serve as a liaison to residents and the corporate office.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and publications.
  • Organize and implement site natural disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
  • Manage property safety records, loss claims, and risk management initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
  • One to two years of direct management experience is required.
  • Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
  • Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate level knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
