Storage Rentals of America is hiring a Property Manager to join our team. Become the newest member of our exciting team at SROA as we redefine self-storage! We are looking for someone who loves talking to customers, is not afraid of moving around and likes to work independently. Our business is buying new Self-Storage properties and managing them. We started in Florida, but after 10 years we have more than 460 properties in 30 States. Pretty great, right? Our mission is to provide affordable, clean, and secure self-storage to everyone. In this role, you will drive sales growth by helping customers understand the products and services we offer, following up with potential customers, and explaining lease agreements. Customer service is key, as you will need to address questions and complaints, manage past due accounts, and maintain clear communication with other departments. Property maintenance and cleaning are also part of your responsibilities, ensuring that units and the property are clean and well-maintained. You will also handle some administrative tasks, including paperwork and bank deposits. Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by helping customers understand products and services.
  • Follow up with potential customers who are undecided.
  • Explain lease agreements and execute them when customers are ready to proceed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing complaints.
  • Call tenants with past due accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain clear communication with other departments.
  • Clean self-storage units and the property to ensure a pleasant environment for customers.
  • Perform daily walks around the property to check for maintenance issues.
  • Handle bank deposits for cash payments from customers.
  • Complete necessary paperwork such as auction files, tenant letters, and reports.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • A year of experience in the Storage Rental Industry or Customer Service Management.
  • Availability for business hours from Monday-Saturday, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently or in a small team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
