About the position

The Property Manager at Roofstock is responsible for providing exceptional service to investors while managing a portfolio of single-family rental homes. This role requires a high level of adaptability, attention to detail, and communication skills to effectively resolve complex challenges and ensure optimal portfolio performance. The Property Manager will act as a liaison between investors and the Roofstock organization, collaborating with various departments to support the company's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio in accordance with investors' changing goals and objectives
• Provide excellent customer service at all times to our investors
• Resolve complex problems as they arise and permanently resolve the underlying issues to prevent them from happening again, all while appropriately managing the expectations of investors
• Systematically assess, organize, schedule and execute tasks by leveraging proprietary technology and our centralized teams of excellence
• Proactively create tasks for team members and follow up to ensure satisfactory completion
• Build strong virtual relationships with all other departments
• Enthusiastically embrace innovation by testing software, processes and organizational changes, while providing actionable feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement
• Ability to discuss and cross-sell Roofstock real estate products
• Assist investors with the purchase/sale of income properties

Requirements

• Must have an active Real Estate License
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience preferred in operations, real estate, customer service, or account management
• Prior experience in property management, cost management, or revenue management, a plus
• Extreme attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven and intrinsically motivated with the ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
• Thrives in a fast-paced and startup environment
• Tech savvy
