About the position

The Property Manager will oversee the operations of an apartment community in North San Antonio, ensuring effective management of property finances, tenant relations, and overall community appearance. This role is crucial for maintaining high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction while managing a team and addressing various property management challenges.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of property management, including financial reporting, occupancy management, and lease renewals.
• Managing rent collection, addressing late payments, and handling operating expenses.
• Utilizing sales management and marketing knowledge to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
• Investigating and resolving tenant complaints, disturbances, and violations in a timely manner.
• Conducting routine inspections, including vacated units, and maintaining the property's appearance.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in property management or related field.
• Experience working with conventional apartment communities of at least 300+ units is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Time management and stress-management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
• Some college education in a relevant field.
