About the position

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property, ensuring positive interactions between team members and residents, and managing the hiring and development of staff. This role includes maintaining property rentals, enforcing occupancy policies, and managing financial expectations related to rent collections and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and hold accountable a team of employees including maintenance staff
• Ensure that all prospects and residents have positive interactions with team members
• Maintain property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing the premises
• Oversee budgeted financial expectations including rent collections, occupancy expectations, and expense guidelines
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits from tenants
• Enforce occupancy policies and procedures
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
• Hire team members and provide continuous learning and development for the team

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Property Manager
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management skills
