About the position
As a Property Manager at 1st Lake Properties, you will take on a pivotal role as the business leader of our quaint apartment community located on Lake Ave. in Metairie, LA. This position is not just about managing properties; it’s about leading a team and ensuring the overall success of the community. You will be responsible for the daily operations, which include advertising and marketing vacant apartments to attract new residents, collecting rental payments, and managing operating expenses. Your financial acumen will be crucial as you develop and manage annual budgets, forecast requirements, and analyze variances, data, and trends to ensure the community meets its financial goals. In this role, you will lead the property’s team, assess their performance, and provide guidance to help them succeed. You will also be expected to stay updated on job and market knowledge to ensure that the community remains competitive and appealing to potential residents. Your ability to accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance will be key to your success in this position. We are looking for someone who is passionate about property management and dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our residents and team members alike.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Previous experience managing a conventional apartment community
- A passion and dedication to a job well done
- Experience with AMSI and LRO is very helpful!
