Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the property management team to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain referral-worthy customer experiences consistently.
  • Advocate for team members to enhance individual performance.
  • Oversee the selection, hiring, training, and coaching of team members.
  • Manage budget processing and financial reporting for the property.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Handle resident relations, leasing, rent collection, and eviction procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of property management practices and processes, including building and grounds maintenance.
  • Utilize property management and accounting software effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years' experience as a residential property manager required.
  • Prior supervisory experience in selection, hiring, team training, and coaching.
  • Working knowledge of multifamily property management practices and processes.
  • Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
  • Experience with budget processing and financial management.
  • Knowledge of property safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with property management and accounting software, particularly OneSite and Ops Technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or a related field preferred.
  • Experience as a Community Manager is preferred.
