About the position

The Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of assets within American Tower's U.S. Tower division, focusing on maximizing the value of the real estate portfolio and ensuring smooth operations of properties. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various departments and direct engagement with property owners, requiring strong project management and customer service skills. As a senior member of the team, the Property Manager will also mentor Associate Property Managers and handle complex property management issues.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact and project manager for all site-related activities in your portfolio of assets.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure the best results and resolutions are delivered efficiently.
  • Provide high-quality customer service when handling inquiries, following them through to resolution.
  • Review, research, analyze, and resolve complex inquiries from property owners.
  • Manage all property needs generated by internal stakeholders, including landlord consents and property redevelopment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize the Company's financial interest and improve relations with property owners.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of cases via Salesforce, capturing all relevant property data.
  • Develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with property owners and/or their designees.
  • Assist in developing processes and training materials; deliver training to new team members.
  • Engage and/or lead cross-functional projects designed to increase efficiencies and improve team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of direct property management experience required.
  • Proven track record of delivering exemplary customer service and managing projects required.
  • Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
  • Experience interpreting legal documents, including real estate leases and contracts, preferred.
