As a Property Manager at CubeSmart Self Storage, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the property while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and property maintenance responsibilities. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions, ensuring that every interaction delivers a WOW! or 5 Star service. Your role will involve face-to-face interactions with customers, meeting monthly sales goals, and performing lock checks while showing units to potential customers. In addition to customer service, you will manage the leasing process, accept payments using our Point-of-Sale System (POS), and complete daily bank deposits. You will also be responsible for making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments and managing invoice reviews and approvals within our database. Your duties will extend to overseeing the store's expense budget, maintaining store supplies, and managing retail inventory. On the property maintenance side, you will be required to perform daily walks of the property, ensuring cleanliness and safety. This includes cleaning units, maintaining the facility, and performing light maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and changing light bulbs. You will ensure that the storage facility meets company guidelines, including maintaining clean restrooms, landscaping, and overall property condition. Responsibilities

  • Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a WOW! or 5 Star service.
  • Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
  • Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
  • Walking the property to perform lock checks and showing units to customers.
  • Renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, and accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS).
  • Completing daily bank deposits and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
  • Managing the invoice review and approval responsibilities within the database.
  • Processing invoices, managing reports, and overseeing the legal process of auctions.
  • Overseeing the store's expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.
  • Performing daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, and opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
  • Maintaining the facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, and cleaning out storage units.
  • Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure condition meets company guidelines.

Requirements

  • A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
  • Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday.
