About the position

As a Property Manager at ELS in Bradenton, Florida, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operations of the property while ensuring a positive living experience for residents. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the resources and assets of the property, which encompasses managing staff, community buildings, roads, and amenities. You will be tasked with ensuring that the property remains clean and attractive to maximize occupancy rates. This involves collaborating with marketing teams to attract new residents and providing exceptional customer service that enhances the overall living experience for current residents. In addition to maintaining the physical aspects of the property, you will also be responsible for showing homes as they become available and managing the community's operational budget. This includes analyzing financial data to improve profitability and setting high-quality standards for service delivery. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a collaborative environment among staff and ensuring that all operations align with the company's financial goals. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the resources and assets of the property, including staff, community buildings, roads, and amenities.
  • Ensure that the property is clean and attractive to maximize occupancy.
  • Partner with marketing teams to attract new residents and provide excellent customer service.
  • Show homes when they become available.
  • Analyze, prepare, and manage the community's operation budget to improve profitability.
  • Set high-quality standards and provide outstanding customer service to residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of property management experience; experience in a multi-family and/or manufactured home setting is preferred.
  • Strong operational, collaborative, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and other web-based applications, specifically financial systems.
  • Experience in marketing and/or sales preferred.
  • Understanding of the operating complexities and daily tasks associated with the position.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
