About The Position

The Property Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of properties in the Hudson, NY market, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction while efficiently managing property operations. This role requires extensive experience in property management and a strong ability to maintain compliance with regulations and financial performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of property management experience, preferably with a diverse portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software Appfolio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth understanding of property management principles, local market trends, and relevant regulations.
• Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service or real estate sales background preferred.
• Demonstrable skills in negotiation and selling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of single-family homes, multi-family properties, motels, and mobile homes.
• Foster positive relationships with tenants, promptly address their concerns, and ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance and repairs, ensuring all properties are well-maintained and comply with safety regulations.
• Prepare and manage budgets, collect rent, and ensure timely payment of expenses.
• Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
• Manage lease agreements and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial metrics for senior management.
• Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including HUD requirements for mobile homes.
