About the position

Marketplace Homes is a well-established hybrid brokerage and property management company with over 20 years of experience in real estate. Our nationwide property management team is fully equipped to meet the unique needs of investors of all portfolio scales. We currently manage thousands of homes in over 38 states. Our highly-rated company is growing, so we are seeking a Property Manager to join us! In this role, you will oversee hundreds of homes in various regions of the country. The successful candidate will be very detail-oriented, process-driven, have a strong understanding of technology, and possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Through our advanced systems and networks, our PM team acquires, rehabs, markets, fills, and manages single-family homes across the country. The scope and scale of these operations make solid leadership an integral part of our success.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients, primarily owners and residents, from the move-in process to the move-out processes and everything in between.
  • Identify appropriate vendors and coordinate service repair work as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in Revela, our property management software, including invoicing home owners, collections from residents, and payments to trades.
  • Coordinate resident move-out inspections and completion of damages to get the home back to a 'market ready' standard.
  • Complete SODA forms in compliance with relevant laws.
  • Reply to homeowner and resident emails to answer questions through our ticketing software.
  • Opportunity to coach and develop a team of property managers.
  • Lead a team of property managers to achieve team goals and KPIs.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a Single Family Rental Property Management role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Above average attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience coordinating with HOA's is a plus.
  • A working knowledge of property management and customer ticketing software systems, especially Revela, Yardi, Salesforce, Zoho, and Slack.
