About the position

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a Class A Garden-Style community, ensuring that financial and operational goals are met. This role involves supervising on-site staff, maintaining property standards, and performing leasing functions as needed. The Property Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the property's appearance, safety, and resident satisfaction while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on-site staff to achieve financial and operational goals.
• Physically inspect all common areas daily to ensure peak readiness and appearance.
• Maintain current market and neighborhood information for pricing and marketing strategies.
• Plan and attend resident functions as necessary.
• Oversee maintenance to ensure quality of work and resident satisfaction.
• Approve all lease paperwork including applications, move-ins, and renewals.
• Monitor maintenance department performance and supplies.
• Collect, record, and deposit property income accurately and timely.
• Implement legal collection procedures on delinquent accounts.
• Hire, train, and review performance of all on-site personnel.
• Complete all required reports in a timely manner.
• Encourage lease renewals and rent increases.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of two years of Property Manager experience.
• Three to five years experience in the Multifamily Industry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in property management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
