About the position

There is an art to managing property successfully. Taking care of land and buildings, and the residents in those buildings is a profession as important and difficult as any other job out there. Partnership Property Management understands that it takes a strong team to be successful and we are currently looking for an outstanding candidate to join our team as a Property Manager in the Greensboro area. Our Property Managers are responsible for the management of the staff at an assigned group of apartment communities. They also oversee the financial performance of the properties and serve as a point person for third-party relationships. The role of a Property Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities that are essential for the smooth operation of the properties. This includes directing, coordinating, and exercising functional responsibility for property management business, providing direction and leadership to staff at apartment communities, and tracking budget variances to ensure a smooth recovery process. Additionally, the Property Manager will oversee the billing process, including payment of invoices and disbursement of funds, while monitoring cash flow and cash requirements in conjunction with the Senior Manager to ensure efficient use of cash. Resolving tenant relations issues to ensure their satisfaction is a critical part of the job, as is performing regular property inspections with staff. The Property Manager must also ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives. This position requires strong communication proficiency, customer focus, problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, teamwork orientation, time management skills, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management business
  • Provide direction and leadership to staff at apartment communities

Requirements

  • Possess real estate license or willing to work towards one
  • Strong knowledge of finance and building operations
  • Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
