About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of property management practices, ensuring tenant satisfaction and effective property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination.
• Utilize property management software such as Yardi for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Handle conflict management effectively, addressing tenant concerns and resolving disputes in a timely manner.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and quality services.
• Implement sales strategies to promote occupancy rates and upsell additional services or amenities offered by the property.
• Oversee facilities management tasks, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and comply with safety regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on property performance metrics, including occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and financial performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in office software applications; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively.
• Knowledge of sales techniques and upselling strategies is beneficial.

Nice-to-haves
