About the position

As a Property Manager at Orion Housing LLC, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can manage leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations effectively. You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies while maintaining a high standard of service for our tenants. Your role will involve managing tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions reflect the values of our company. You will conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure that the property is well-maintained. Coordination with contractors and vendors for repairs and maintenance work will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will prepare and execute leases, renewals, and other legal documents, monitor rental payments, and follow up on delinquent accounts. Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new tenants will also be part of your role, along with conducting market research to stay updated on rental rates and trends in the area. Maintaining accurate records of property income and expenses is essential, and you will be expected to utilize your strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors alike. Requirements

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is required.
  • Student housing property management experience preferred.
  • AppFolio proficiency preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with contract management and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to property management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in facilities management is a plus.
