This includes cleaning units, maintaining the property, and performing regular inspections to ensure everything is functioning properly. Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by helping customers understand products and services.
  • Follow up with potential customers who are undecided.
  • Explain lease agreements and execute them when customers are ready to proceed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing complaints.
  • Communicate with tenants regarding past due accounts and payment reminders.
  • Maintain clear communication with other departments as they are also considered customers.
  • Ensure a clean and welcoming environment by cleaning storage units and the property.
  • Perform regular inspections of the property to ensure everything is functioning properly.
  • Handle cash deposits at the bank for customers who pay in cash.
  • Complete necessary paperwork such as auction files, tenant letters, and reports.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • A year of experience in the storage rental industry is preferred, but customer service management experience is also acceptable.
  • Availability for business hours from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary for daily tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or in a small team setting.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require pushing, pulling, bending, and walking the property.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service management outside of the storage rental industry.
  • Basic knowledge of property maintenance and cleaning procedures.
