About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shelter facility and transitional home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management principles and have a strong customer service background. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to perform light maintenance, and work well with contractors and volunteer groups, all while maintaining a high level of integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, maintenance, landscape, and vendor relations.
• Obtain contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of property files, maintenance requests, and work orders.
• Address property concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance protocols.
• Oversee, guide, and assist volunteers on project days.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field.
• Integrity and passion for the mission of respectfully and compassionately empowering persons who are homeless.
• Great communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with others.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
