About the position

The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations and management of properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and that tenant satisfaction is prioritized. This role requires strong administrative and customer service skills to handle various responsibilities, including leasing, maintenance, and compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Negotiate lease agreements and renewals, ensuring terms are favorable for both the company and tenants
  • Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including leases, maintenance requests, and financial transactions
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, renovations, and other property-related projects
  • Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain a safe and pleasant living or working environment
  • Address any conflicts or disputes that may arise between tenants or with neighboring properties
  • Stay updated on local laws and regulations related to property management to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or related field
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective tenant relations
  • Ability to negotiate lease agreements and handle conflict management situations
  • Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to property management
  • Familiarity with property maintenance practices and facilities management principles
  • Understanding of real estate administrative processes, including rent collection and financial reporting
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
