About the position

The Property Preservation Sub Contractor role involves working as a subcontractor for a regional preservation company, focusing on maintaining and securing foreclosed properties in Asheville and surrounding areas. The position requires experienced property maintenance vendors who can perform various services efficiently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Change locks
• Remove debris from properties
• Cut grass (mow, trim, edge, and blow)
• Trim shrubs
• Remove vines
• Trim trees
• Perform winterizations
• Provide maid services
• Cap wires and replace outlet covers
• Snow removal
• Hazard removal
• Install pool covers
• Perform roof tarping
• Take and upload photos using a smartphone
• Report damages and provide measurements

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in property preservation
• Must have Aspen Grove background check or be willing to obtain one
• General liability insurance
• Ability to use a smartphone for work and reporting
• Knowledge of Property Preservation Wizard App is a plus
