In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Robotics & Discrete Automation, General Industries, and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation. The work model for the role is hybrid, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. This position is crucial to the Robotics & Discrete Automation division located in Auburn Hills, MI, where you will interact with both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers, channels, and Sales Specialists regarding ABB products, systems, and applications. You will perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new sales opportunities, resolving specific customer problems, and ensuring the achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS). You will also ensure the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
