About the position

The Proposal Graphic Designer at Arc Aspicio is an independent consultant responsible for creating and enhancing graphics for proposals, capability statements, and presentations aimed at securing contracts with Federal government clients. This fully remote position requires collaboration with the New Business team and adherence to specific proposal requirements and deadlines, utilizing tools like Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Use graphical design tools, including primarily Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint, to create graphics and enhance presentations for a consulting firm.
  • Design compelling graphics including complex infographics for Federal government proposals and other functions as an independent contractor, ensuring graphics convey the brand and theme consistently for each proposal.
  • Collaborate effectively with the proposal graphics coordinator to receive instructions and graphic mock-ups and templates.
  • Follow instructions related to font and font size requirements and other related instructions to create graphics on scale with strong attention to detail.
  • Produce new graphics with strong attention to detail and quickly modify existing graphics to fit specific needs.
  • Communicate with internal team members to meet all deadlines, including short-term assignments with a focus on accuracy and clarity.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of graphics design experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in creating graphics for Federal government proposals.
  • Ability to create, edit, and export graphics in the latest version of Adobe Illustrator to be included in Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to use PowerPoint, create templates, and develop graphics in PowerPoint to support proposals and presentations.
  • Ability to create a consistent, clear, and compelling look and feel for individual documents or proposals, ensuring all graphics are integrated and effective.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word for publishing desired but not required.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely, with a focus on customer service and timely, accurate communications.
  • Ability to name and organize original graphics files, use versioning, and access prior graphics for reuse efficiently.
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Adobe and Microsoft products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of other graphic design tools desired but not required.
