About the position

The Proposal Writer at Tyler Technologies Inc. is responsible for creating high-quality proposal content that effectively showcases the company's solutions and expertise in the public sector market. This role involves collaboration with various departments to develop compelling narratives that highlight the unique value propositions of Tyler's offerings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and adept at conveying complex technical information in an accessible manner, contributing to the growth of the company by supporting its financial management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling proposal narratives that synthesize both existing content and new inputs from SMEs, in alignment with strategic proposal objectives.
• Collaborate with product teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) and Marketing to understand Tyler's solutions deeply, translating complex information into easy-to-understand, benefits-focused language.
• Generate, organize, and maintain a comprehensive library of boilerplate content and templates that reflect Tyler's solutions, services, capabilities, and differentiators to ensure quick, high-quality responses.
• Conduct research on potential clients and competitive analysis as needed to tailor proposal responses for maximum impact, bringing insights into how Tyler's offerings stand out in the public sector market.
• Support continuous improvement in proposal processes and content development to enhance response quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure that the content within Qvidian is well-organized, current, and compliant.
• Populate content library with approved and accurate questions and responses.
• Perform periodic quality control review of proposal output across team.

Requirements

• BS/BA in related field or comparable business experience
• Extensive experience crafting convincing proposals or marketing content
• Professional experience in a proposal writing role
• Experience with Qvidian or other proposal content management systems
• Strong professional and persuasive written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment (both independently and as a team player)
• Strong attention to detail and follow up
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
