About the position
The Proposal Writer at Lockton, Inc. is responsible for managing the Loopio platform, ensuring the creation of high-quality, compelling content for RFPs and finalist presentations. This role involves collaborating with the RFP Project Manager and other communication personnel to maintain a consistent approach to proposal writing, while also streamlining workflows and enhancing user experience on the platform. The position requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear language.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Loopio platform including content upload, review cycles, timelines, and reports.
- Own the user experience strategy for the Loopio Platform in collaboration with the RFP Project Manager.
- Partner with communication personnel to ensure alignment on content and review cycles.
- Work with Associates to support a best-in-class user experience through platform architecture and tools.
- Identify and streamline critical workflows and services.
- Maintain a repository of proposal responses for future use within Loopio.
- Develop, write, and create compelling content for RFPs and finalist presentations.
- Translate complex insurance concepts into clear and concise language.
- Ensure all RFP responses maintain a common voice.
- Perform other job duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content writing, proposal writing, or a related field, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proven understanding of RFPs and ability to create sophisticated responses.
- Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and well-organized with strong project management skills.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
