Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic approach for each proposal, including win themes, value proposition, and competitive differentiation strategies.
  • Lead the end-to-end proposal process, including kick-off meetings, timeline development, content editing, review coordination, and facilitate after action planning as needed.
  • Coordinate content reviews with internal stakeholders managing feedback and revisions to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with proposal requirements.
  • Maintain a library of reusable content, templates, and best practices to streamline the proposal development process and improve content quality and consistency over time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, graphic designers and legal advisors, to gather necessary information and resources for proposal development.
  • Coordinate content development activities to meet proposal deadlines, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or delays and implementing solutions to keep the process on track.
  • Maintain documentation of proposal activities, track key performance metrics, and analyze outcomes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, English, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in proposal management, business development, or sales support roles.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to producing error-free deliverables.
  • Strong project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently, and with others.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with proposal management software/tools (e.g. PandaDoc, Loopio, Proposify) is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
