About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Propulsion Engineer to join our dynamic team in the exciting field of space exploration. This permanent, full-time position involves working 100% onsite and offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and analysis of state-of-the-art propulsion systems for space and lunar missions. The role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our missions through innovative engineering solutions and collaboration with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis and development of propulsion systems, including design, testing, and implementation.
  • Utilize mathematical modeling to predict and optimize system performance under various conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to ensure integration of propulsion systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
  • Conduct and oversee the execution of test plans to validate propulsion system performance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with propulsion systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and implement innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in propulsion engineering or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the analysis and development of propulsion systems.
  • Strong knowledge of space and lunar environments and their impact on propulsion systems.
  • Proficiency in mathematical modeling and its application in the design and optimization of dynamic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
  • A passion for space exploration and a drive to push the boundaries of what is possible.

Nice-to-haves
