As a Propulsion Engineer III, you will be part of a hardworking team of engineers dedicated to designing and developing combustion devices such as injectors, chambers, nozzles, thrusters, and igniters for various rocket engines and spaceflight systems. This role is crucial as it directly impacts the history of space exploration, requiring your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. You will be responsible for the complete product life-cycle of combustion devices, from initial requirements through flight qualification. This includes design, manufacturing, test support, performing test data reviews, processing non-conforming hardware, and writing technical reports. A solid background in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and structural mechanics is essential for success in this position. You will report directly to a Combustion Devices Manager within the Engines business unit, and your technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality will be vital in positively impacting safe human spaceflight.
