About the position

The Prospect Research Analyst I plays a crucial role in supporting the University’s advancement efforts by conducting research on major gift prospects, including individuals, corporations, and foundations. This position assists various stakeholders within the University, such as the President, Vice President for University Advancement, and Development Officers, by providing essential information that aids in successful fundraising activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying major gift prospects through research.
  • Provide research information on individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Support University advancement programs by delivering timely and relevant data.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance fundraising efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong editing skills.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Self-motivated and well-organized.
  • Some research-related coursework.

Nice-to-haves
