The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a Prospect Research Analyst to play a crucial role in supporting the development team by conducting thorough research analysis on potential donors and funding opportunities. This position involves utilizing various online and print resources to produce comprehensive profiles that will assist development officers and leaders in their cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies. The Prospect Research Analyst will report directly to the Assistant Director of Prospect Research Management and will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment after completing the probationary period. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for conducting detailed research on current and prospective donors to UAB, providing insightful analysis regarding their capacity to give. The analyst will produce a variety of reports, including profile briefs and both preliminary and full profiles on individuals, corporations, and foundations. These reports will be distributed to university leadership, development officers, and staff involved in the Grateful Patient Program. Additionally, the analyst will manage the flow of prospects through the development pipeline, ensuring effective portfolio management and identifying new prospects for engagement. The role also requires maintaining the accuracy and integrity of donor and prospect information within the CRM system, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and reliable. The Prospect Research Analyst will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the development team and the university's fundraising efforts.
