About the position

We serve some of the world's most influential individuals and organizations, providing specialized services powered by advanced technology and a skilled team of intelligence analysts. As a Protective Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Protective Intelligence Center (PIC), which supports our Private Strategic Group in proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats to our clients and their enterprises. This position is remote and involves monitoring various threat vectors, including geopolitical events, civil unrest, natural hazards, crime, terrorism, and health concerns. You will be responsible for fielding operational and logistical requests for information to facilitate secure transport and executive protection workflows. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of intelligence professionals, engaging in critical thinking and creative problem-solving under high-stress conditions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing open-source and closed-source datasets, providing timely and actionable intelligence, and collaborating with other analysts and leadership during daily standup meetings. The position requires a strong commitment to confidentiality and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Monitor a wide variety of threat vectors including open-source and closed-source datasets and feeds.
  • Assess geopolitical events, civil unrest, natural hazards, crime, terrorism, and health concerns.
  • Field operational and logistical requests for information (RFIs) to facilitate secure transport and executive protection workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Protective Intelligence Analyst and other team members during shift turnover and daily meetings.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence to support internal business functions and client contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and aptitude for rapidly assimilating new information.
  • Demonstrated interest in supporting physical security and operational logistics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Ability to assess information quickly for credibility, relevance, and importance.
  • Ability to establish priorities, multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Schedule flexibility and ability to work night and weekend shifts.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two or more years of experience in a security operations or similar role.
  • Former experience in law enforcement, military, or government with a background in incident management or crisis response.
  • Open-source intelligence (OSINT) skills for collecting and assessing information.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Broad geopolitical awareness and cultural sensitivity.
  • Familiarity with news reporting sources and social media for real-time monitoring.
  • Ability to leverage new technologies effectively.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting knowledge.
