About the position

The Prototype Java Developer will support a program in Linthicum, MD, focusing on developing analytics that pull data from multiple cyber sources using advanced technologies. This role emphasizes collaboration with customers to create prototypes that address new and existing questions, utilizing data science methods and machine learning frameworks to automate analytic processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
• Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.
• Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.
• Test, troubleshoot, maintain, configure, and improve network and user systems.

Requirements

• Strong Java skills
• Customer GHOSTMACHINE analytic development
• Experience with Hadoop (Map Reduce & Accumulo)
• Experience with software configuration using Gitlab, Git, Gitflo and Nexus
• Experience with Linux
• Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/Poly
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree plus 10-years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED plus 12-years.
